Overnight stay on Houtskär

All our rooms have access to a shared bathroom with shower. Guests also have access to a fridge, coffee maker, kettle & microwave. After a good night's sleep, you can enjoy our simple breakfast in your room, outside on the terrace or inside the restaurant. During the low season, breakfast is available in the fridge in your room and guests can make coffee and tea in the common areas.

We have a small sauna that can be booked for two people at a time for a fee. The sauna is available during low season.

    In our family rooms on the upper floor of the house, it is possible to accommodate 3 or 4 people in each room. The family rooms have access to a shared bathroom and a small kitchenette with a shared refrigerator.

    What a great home meal like lunch buffet! I'm always happy to find a vegetarian option (the local potatoes anf flounder were pretty good, too). We also found a cozy window-side corner, too.

    Todella maukas ja runsas lounas vaikka juuri oli iso turisti ryhmä käynyt. Erikseen tultiin vielä kysymään riittikö ja halutaanko lisää (ei tarvinnut). 🤣 En 38-vuoteen ole syönyt saaristolaisleipää mutta nyt söin. 👍🏼Omistajat myös erittäin mukavia ja rentoja.

    Yövyttiin ja saunottiin. Lohikeitto illalla oli super hyvää. ❤️
    Lähistöllä kaunisvanha puukirkko ja jonka pihapiiristä lähti hiljentymisen polku merenrantaan. Näkymät jotka suosittelen kokemaan.

    Hyvällä sijainnilla jos houtskarissa tulee poikettua. Yläkerrassa baari. Mutta mielestäni sieltä ei kantautunut häiritsevää melua huoneeseen. Todella ystävällinen palvelu ja majoittumisen kruunasi aamupala joka oli 5/5

    Edullinen, monipuolinen ja herkullinen lounas. Kotiruokatyyppinen. Kaikki laktoositonta. Lounaaseen kuuluu myös kahvi+uunituore pulla. Erittäin ystävällinen henkilökunta. Majoitus kaiken kaikkiaan siisti, toimiva ja edullinen.

Finding your way

  • By car

    From the mainland: We are located about 100km from Turku and 250km from Helsinki. Take road 180 towards Pargas/Korpo and drive through Nagu and Korpo to get to Houtskär.

     
    From Turku/Pargas you need to take three ferries to get to Houtskär; Pargas - Nagu, Nagu - Korpo and finally Korpo - Houtskär. You can find the ferry timetables at finferries.fi.
     
    Once you have driven ashore on Houtskär, follow the main road to Näsby and find us in the centre.
     
    From Iniö and Mossala: Follow the main road and take the ferry Mossala - Björkö and the ferry Kivimo - Roslax. Turn left towards Näsby and find us in the center.

  • By bus

    The Archipelago Bus runs between Turku - Pargas - Nagu - Korpo - Houtskär. The nearest bus stop to Sybarit is right outside the restaurant. The bus timetable can be found at https://seutuplus.fi/aikataulut/ (Route 901-905)

  • By boat

    If you come to Sybarit with your own boat, Näsby guest harbor is the nearest place to land. Sybarit is only about 200m along the road from the guest harbor.
